This pasta dish may be simple but it’s big on flavour and can be made using pantry staple ingredients instead of fresh ones. Simply sub the fresh herbs and chilli for dried and you’ve still got yourself a delicious, flavoursome dish!

Method
Into a pot of boiling salted water, add the pasta and cook as per packet directions.
Meanwhile, in a pan, melt the butter and olive oil, then add the chilli and garlic and fry until fragrant.
Add the parsley, basil, lemon juice and zest. Season with salt and pepper and toss to combine.
Once the pasta is a minute from being ready, transfer the pasta and a splash of cooking water to the sauce and toss to combine.
Serve with Parmigiano cheese and cracked black pepper.
